Colin Neilson loved music as long as he can remember. Starting with piano lessons, moving to guitar and then attending the highly respected OIART program in London, ON. After graduating with an A+, Colin secured an internship at renowned Metalworks Studios which quickly turned into an Assistant Engineer position. Interested in the business side, he then moved into an Assistant Manager role.
Continuing to work in the studio Colin was recruited by Somerset Entertainment as an Assistant Engineer and Digital Media Specialist. From there he grew into a Mastering Engineer position while continuing to work on digital marketing.

During this time he worked closely with several musicians & producers, Our Lady Peace, Bob Rock, The Tea Party, Ian Gillan, Billy Talent, Gavin Brown, Sandi Patty and Jim Brickman as well as brands like Fisher-Price, Mattel, Solitudes, Reflections and more.

Working on hundreds of albums with several musicians has allowed Colin to go beyond music and understand the depth of today’s business. He has, in turn, marketed and created campaigns for album releases and tours for award winning, GRAMMY® Nominated Jim Brickman. Successfully selling tens of thousands of tickets a year.

Colin continues to work in all aspects of the business including Writing, Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Video Editing, Meta Marketing, Content Creation and Social Media Management. He has experience in managing large catalogs of content, income statements, websites and more.
